There are two active ingredients in PetArmor Antibacterial Antifungal Shampoo: chlorhexidine gluconate to help fight and kill bacteria, and ketoconazole to help stop fungus. Bacterial infections tend to be moist, inflamed and often ooze. Fungal infections frequently exhibit scaling, crusting, raised lesions and hair loss, as well as a yeast-like odor. PetArmor Antibacterial Antifungal Shampoo will help stop the infection and cleanse the skin without causing further irritation.
For best results, wet your pet’s coat for a few minutes with water, apply shampoo and work it into a lather, carefully avoiding your pet’s eyes. Thoroughly wash your pet all over, including its neck, chest, body, hindquarters and legs, and pay special attention to ear flaps, lip folds, underbody areas, the base of the tail and any affected areas. Leave the shampoo on your pet for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse well. If redness or irritation persists after regular use or increases, discontinue use and contact your veterinarian. If your pet is not eating or drinking normally, contact your veterinarian.
This product is designed for use on both dogs and cats. For topical use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If eye contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. If skin irritation develops or increases, or you see no improvement, stop use and contact your veterinarian.
