PetArmor®

Product Description

Veterinarian-quality protection for your dog at significant savings.

Nothing should come between you and your dog, least of all fleas and ticks. So you need a cost-effective option that won’t break the bank. PetArmor is guaranteed to work effectively at killing adult fleas, ticks and chewing lice. It contains the #1 veterinarian-recommended active ingredient, fipronil. PetArmor is available in an easy-to-use, fast-acting topical application specifically formulated for your dog’s weight. Each monthly dose will give your dog the same protection at significant savings. That's great for both you and your dog! For dogs that live and play in heavily flea- and tick-infested areas, consider using PetArmor Plus IGR. It contains the same active ingredient, fipronil, as in PetArmor, but has an additional active ingredient that breaks the flea life cycle.

PetArmor for Dogs acts fast and is effective, long lasting, waterproof and easy to use for the control of adult fleas, ticks and chewing lice on dogs and puppies. It contains the active ingredient fipronil. Used as directed, it can help prevent reinfestation while also controling sarcoptic mange infestations. PetArmor for Dogs kills, controls and prevents infestations of adult fleas (prior to egg laying), brown dog ticks, American dog ticks, lone star ticks and deer ticks (that may transmit Lyme disease), as well as chewing lice.

Apply PetArmor for Dogs topically only on dogs and puppies aged 8 weeks or older, including breeding, pregnant and nursing mothers as indicated. PetArmor for Dogs with fipronil should be applied every month. Do not treat with more than one pesticide product at a time. Don't forget to consider your dog's age.

PetArmor for Dogs comes in four weight breaks for dogs and puppies: 5 to 22 lbs., 23 to 44 lbs., 45 to 88 lbs., and 89 to 132 lbs.

Keep treated pets apart from each other or other pets for 24 hours after treatment and until the product is dry to prevent pets from licking the product off one another.

Read the entire label carefully before using any product on your pet. For more information, please call 1-888-908-TICK (8425).

Is it normal to still see fleas and ticks on my pet a few days after treating it with PetArmor?

Yes. After treatment with fipronil, fleas and ticks get very active as they die and move to the top of the pet’s coat where they are more visible. This is actually a sign that the product is working. However, if you’re seeing fleas several days or weeks after applying PetArmor, you may have an infestation in your yard or elsewhere. Remember to treat all pets in your house with PetArmor every 30 days throughout the year to help protect your pets from fleas and ticks.

Can I use PetArmor more than once in a month if my pet has a really bad flea or tick problem?

No. PetArmor should not be used more than once every 30 days. If you have a bad infestation, talk to your veterinarian about your options.

Does PetArmor have an expiration date?

No. All PetArmor products should be stored at room temperature in their original packaging and are good to use as long as the pipettes remain sealed.

If I’m not happy with PetArmor, can I return it?
