PetArmor Plus provides fast protection for dogs, combining fipronil and (s)-methoprene to kill adult fleas, flea eggs, flea larvae, ticks and chewing lice.
The flea and tick preventative should be used monthly to provide optimal protection. Because fleas and ticks can be present year round, even in colder climates, and can lay dormant for several months before hatching, the Companion Animal Parasite Council recommends treating your pet each month throughout the entire year. Used a directed, PetArmor Plus can stop infestations and help prevent reinfestation. Apply PetArmor Plus topically only on dogs and puppies over 8 weeks of age.
PetArmor Plus is available in four different packages for different sized dogs: 4-22 lbs., 23-44 lbs., 45-88 lbs., and 89-132 lbs. Please do not attempt to adjust your dog’s dose on your own.
Do NOT use this product on cats. Please use PetArmor Plus for Cats instead. Be sure to use dog products on dogs and cat products on cats. These products are different formulations based on the species and weight of your pet and SHOULD NEVER be used interchangeably.
Keep treated pets apart from each other or other pets for 24 hours after treatment and until the product is dry to prevent pets from licking the product off one another.

Applying PetArmor Plus products at home is easy. Just follow these steps each time you use the products.
Before You Apply
Applying correctly starts with purchasing correctly at the store. Before purchasing, weigh your dog. Don't guess! It is important to know the exact weight of the pet to ensure you purchase the right product.
At the store, be sure to buy the product for the right species. BE SURE to choose dog products for dogs and cat products for cats. These products are different formulations based on the species and weight of your pet and SHOULD NEVER be used interchangeably.
Do NOT treat with more than one pesticide product at a time. Don't forget to consider your dog's age. ONLY use PetArmor Plus on dogs over 4 lbs. and over 8 weeks of age.
Applying the Product
- Remove product tubes from the package.
- Separate one tube from the others.
- Hold the tube with notched end pointing up and away from the face and body. Use scissors to cut off the narrow end at the notches along the line.
- Invert tube over dog and use open end to part your dog’s hair.
- Squeeze tube firmly to apply all of the solution to the dog’s skin as a spot to the dog’s back between the shoulder blades.

PetArmor Plus provides six-way protection and will kill adult fleas, flea eggs, flea larvae, ticks, chewing lice and prevents the development of flea pupae. It controls mites that may cause sarcoptic mange and kills deer ticks that can transmit Lyme disease. It also kills brown dog ticks, American dog ticks, and lone star ticks and prevents flea reinfestations for four weeks.
The product should begin to kill fleas within about 12 hours of contact with your pet. It may take closer to 48 hours to begin to kill ticks.
No. Make sure that your pet is completely dry before applying the product. It is best to wait 12 hours to assure that the pet is completely dry prior to application.
You should not reapply the product any more often than once every four weeks.
Once the product has dried on your dog’s skin, the application site should not appear greasy. However, if some of the product did get caught in your dog’s hair it could cause a greasy appearance. If the dog’s hair still appears greasy 48 hours after application, we would recommend using a wet washcloth or paper towel to wipe the excess product off the fur.
Yes, it is ok to use this product if you have a cat in your home. We do recommend separating your pets until the product has had a chance to dry for 24-48 hours. This will help to reduce the chance of your cat grooming and ingesting the product off of your dog.
This product has a shelf life of three to five years. When properly stored and under ideal conditions it will be five years. If there has been a variance in temperature (extreme heat for example), it may reduce the effectiveness of the product. Be sure to store the product in a cool (below 77°F/25°C) dry place inaccessible to children and pets. Do not refrigerate and protect from direct sunlight.
