How to Apply
Applying PetArmor flea and tick treatment at home is easy. Just follow these steps each time you use the product.
Before You Apply
Don't forget to consider your dog's age. ONLY use PetArmor Fastact Plus Flea and Tick Spray for Dogs and Cats on dogs, puppies, cats and kittens over 12 weeks of age.
Weight of dog or cat, length of hair and density of coat will determine amount of spray to be applied to wet the skin. This 16 ounce bottle should be sufficient for three applications to an average 30 to 35 pound dog or 20 applications to a 10 pound cat. Do not spray in the eyes, face or genitalia.
When applied at the label dose rate, your dog or cat should not be retreated more frequently than once every 14 days. Lighter applications will reduce period of effectiveness, may result in earlier reinfestation and may require more frequent retreatment.
For best results in controlling ticks, spray directly on the tick.

The drying time for our flea and tick sprays is only about 5 to 6 minutes. It would be ideal for you to prevent your pet from grooming during this time frame. For denser coats and/or a quicker dry time, you can blow dry. Don’t use a towel, that will remove the product.
If your pet does lick some of the wet spray, you may see some drooling or foaming at the mouth. This is from the taste of the product and should go away once your pet eats or drinks something. After the spray has dried, there should be no concerns with your pet licking their fur.
You can bathe your pet or get your pet wet after the product is completely dry.
