Before You Apply
Applying correctly starts with purchasing the correct product. Before purchasing, weigh your dog. Don't guess! It is important to know your dog’s exact weight.
DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT ON CATS. Be sure to choose dog products for dogs and cat products for cats. These products are different formulations based on the species and your pet’s weight and SHOULD NEVER be used interchangeably. PetArmor Naturals Flea and Tick Spray for Cats is available to protect your cat.
Don't forget to consider your dog's age. ONLY use PetArmor Naturals Flea and Tick Spray for Dogs on dogs and puppies over 12 weeks of age.

Applying the Product
- Spray your dpg with the nozzle about 8 inches to 12 inches from your dog.
- Start spraying your dog at the tail, making sure to spray your dog’s entire coat, including legs, tail and underbody.
- With your hand, fluff the hair against the way it normally lays to assure that the spray penetrates the coat to the skin. Do not saturate your dog and do no spray in the face, eyes or genitals.
- Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after applying.
Keep treated pets apart from each other, other pets and children until the product is dry. This helps prevent pets from ingesting the product by licking or grooming one another.

The estimated drying time for our flea and tick sprays is only about 5 to 6 minutes. It would be ideal for you to prevent your dog from grooming during this time frame. If your dog does lick some of the wet spray, you may see some drooling or foaming at the mouth. This is from the taste of the product and should go away once your dog eats or drinks something. After the spray has dried, there should be no concerns with your dog licking her fur.
Because your dog has an open sore, we suggest checking with your veterinarian before applying anything to your dog.
The product should begin to kill fleas within 24 to 48 hours after application.
No, we do not recommend applying the product right after a bath. We do recommend waiting 24-48 hours for the natural oils to return to your dog.
