How to Apply
Applying PetArmor flea and tick protection at home is easy. Just follow these steps each time you use the product.
Before You Apply
Applying correctly starts with purchasing the correct product. Before purchasing, weigh your dog. Don't guess! It is important to know your dog’s exact weight.
DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT ON CATS. Be sure to choose dog products for dogs and cat products for cats. These products are different formulations based on the species and your pet’s weight and SHOULD NEVER be used interchangeably. PetArmor Naturals Flea and Tick Treatment Topical for Cats is available to protect your cat.
Don't forget to consider your dog's age. ONLY use PetArmor Naturals Flea and Tick Treatment Topical for Dogs on dogs and puppies over 12 weeks of age.

Applying the Product
- Separate one tube from the strip by tearing at the perforation.
- With the tube pointing up and away from the face and body, cut off the narrow end at the notches with scissors.
- While holding your dog with one hand, use the other to apply the solution. Invert the tube and use the narrow end to help part the dog’s hair. Apply directly on the skin.
- Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after applying.
FOR DOGS WEIGHING UNDER 15 POUNDS:
One tube needed per application. Apply one tube (1.5 mL)(0.05fl oz) of this product as a stripe, starting high on the back of the dog’s neck and ending directly in front of the shoulder blades.
FOR DOGS WEIGHING BETWEEN 15 POUNDS AND 40 POUNDS:
Two tubes needed per application. Apply one tube (1.5 mL)(0.05 fl oz) of this product as a stripe to the dog’s back between the shoulder blades and apply a second tube (1.5 mL(0.05 fl oz) continuing the stripe down the center of the dog’s back to a mid-point between the neck and the tail.
FOR DOGS WEIGHING 40 POUNDS AND OVER:
Three tubes needed per application. Apply one tube (1.5 mL)(0.05 fl oz) of this product as a stripe to the dog’s back between the shoulder blades and apply a second tube (1.5 mL)(0.05 fl oz) continuing the stripe down the center of the dog’s back and apply a third tube (1.5 mL)(0.05 fl oz) to the dog’s back directly in front of the base of the tail.
Keep treated pets apart from each other, other pets and children for 24 hours after treatment and until the product is dry. This helps prevent pets from ingesting the topical by licking or grooming one another.
Do not bathe your dog within the first 24 hours after topical has been applied. Some dogs may experience temporary startle effects when any product is applied.
PetArmor Naturals Flea and Tick Treatment Topical for Dogs should be applied at least once per month. If dog is exposed to highly infested environment, repeat applications may be made if necessary, but do not apply more often than once every two weeks

The product should begin to kill and repel fleas within about 12 hours of contact with your pet. It may take closer to 48 hours to begin to kill and repel ticks.
Yes, you may bathe your pet using a non-detergent based shampoo such as a gentle grooming shampoo or puppy shampoo. Avoid using degreasing dish soaps, as these products will remove the product in its entirety.
This product contains natural ingredients that kill adult fleas. As the fleas hatch from eggs and develop from larvae, they come in contact with the product and die. If there is an unusually high amount of hatching fleas, the product may need to be reapplied.
