Question
What is the intent of the product? Are the ingredients natural?
Answer

Poultry Cartilage Powder is a natural substance consisting of connective tissue and cartilage from chickens. It is a major source of Glycosaminoglycans including Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate. Glucosamine HCl is a natural substance which is also found in your dog’s cartilage. It is derived from processed shells of shrimp and crab. It helps rebuild your dog’s cartilage, increase mobility and improves lubrication in your dog’s joints. Glucosamine has natural anti-inflammatory properties which are a natural way to sooth pain and discomfort. Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a naturally occurring sulfur compound that plays a crucial role in forming muscles, nails, hair, and skin as well as building healthy cells. It is known to reduce and maintain healthy fluid pressure of soft tissue and in swollen muscles and joints. It helps improve joint flexibility and reduce pain and inflammation. Chondroitin Sulfate comes from natural sources, such as pork cartilage and is naturally found in your dog's cartilage. Chondroitin binds with the collagen and provides a shock-absorbing cushion that covers the ends of your dog’s joints. It is able to boost the production of cartilage and protects your dog’s joints from further damage. Hyaluronic Acid is part of the patented, cartilage blend that includes the core elements of cartilage which naturally contains the family of Glycosylaminoglycans, (GAGs). Hyaluronic acid is a major component in synovial fluid which reduces friction between joints during movement and has been found to maintain thickness of the fluid.
